Description: We had our platy in a birthing tank for two weeks when we thought she was going to give birth, she is still healthy and doing fine. She gave birth to 42 fry but munched on 9 of them and we fed her a small amount of flake food twice at the early stage and near the end of her birthing time. She was in labour for 4 hours and 45 mins. All 33 fry are doing well. We put the fry in a smaller birthing tank as my other sunset platy and guppies are ready to give birth soon!!
